Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX)

Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

Randy duped the voters in the Pearland, Texas area into electing him as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2012.

During a recent (10/03/14) interview by comedian Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council on his radio show “Washington Watch,” Randy and Tony decided to talk about the first Ebola case reported in Texas.

Randy went on a loony rant about Obama not being serious about fighting Ebola. Loony Randy then said:

  • “I don’t want to sound like an A-hole, I’m sorry sound like an alarmist and we don’t want [wink, wink] people to get cast into a panic but this administration, as you well know, has a real serious credibility gap on a whole lot of things when it comes to taking things serious.”
  • “Whether it’s ISIL or ISIS, whether it’s IRS, Benghazi, you can go right down the list and so it doesn’t foment faith in people to think that our administration’s on top of things when they’ve got such an abysmal track record.”

Apparently, Randy is unaware that Obama has sent nearly 4,000 troops to West Africa in an attempt to assist those countries in combating the Ebola outbreak.

If Randy is so concerned about Ebola then I’d suggest he don a pair of rubber gloves, grab a package of Depends, hop on a plane to Liberia and provide us with solid evidence that he can do a better job than Obama has done to date.

Congrats Randy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
