The state of Tennessee provided Barbara Sims Arthur with a law license in 1976 after she graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Barb guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Bar found it acceptable to engage in the illegal practice of law for a period of at least four (4) years despite the fact that her law license had been suspended.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Barb by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2014) Barb practices at 3335 Ringgold Road in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
