Attorney Myles Hoffert of Farmington Hills, MI; ethical gremlin
The state of Michigan provided Myles B. Hoffert with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the Michigan State University Law School.
The Michigan Attorney Disciplinary Board found Myles guilty of the following misconduct.
- Participated in a form of public communication that was false, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading
- Made public communication that contained a material misrepresentation of fact or law
- Used or participated in form of public communication that was likely to create an unjustified expectation about results the law can achieve
- Engage in conduct exposing legal profession to contempt
- Engaged in conduct contrary to justice, ethics, honesty, or good morals
As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Myles by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. October 2014) Myles practices with Hoffert & Associates PC at 32255 Northwestern Highway in Farmington Hills, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
