Attorney James Beane Jr. of DC; moronic loser

The State of Maryland presented James W. Beane Jr. with a law license in 1995.

The District of Columbia Bar Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dufus)
  • Failed to respond to court orders
  • Failed to prosecute his clients’ interests
  • Negligently misappropriated funds
  • Gross negligence led to clients’ appeals being dismissed
  • Failed to act with due diligence
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to explain matter necessary to allow client to make informed decisions re: representation
  • Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interests after being
  • Failed to safeguard client funds
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2014), Jimmy practices at 2715 M Street NW in Washington, DC.
