Attorney Wayne Smith of Phoenix; ethical misfit

The state of Arizona presented Wayne A. Smith with a law license in 1972 after he graduated from the University of New Mexico Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Wayne guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to appropriately represent organization clients
  • Failed to decline/terminate representation when required to do so

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Wayne by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. October 2014) Wayne practices with Jennings Strouss & Salmon PLC at One East Washington Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
