Attorney Merwin Grant of Phoenix; ethical misfit

The state of Arizona presented Merwin D. Grant with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Duke University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Merwin guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Entered into business transaction with client
  • Failed to obtain client’s written consent
  • Engaged in a conflict of Interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Byron by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Byron practices with Grant & Vaughn PC at 6225 North 24th Street in Phoenix, Arizona.
