Attorney Morris Fair Jr. of Decatur, GA; ethical leprechaun

The state of Georgia presented Morris Fair Jr. with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from John Marshall Law School in Atlanta.

The State Bar of Georgia found Morris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to appear at scheduled court hearing
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to appear at re-scheduled court hearing
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigatgors (Up yours, said Morris!)
  • Failed to refund unearned fees (cheater)
  • Misconduct involves multiple offenses
  • Failed to return client file to client after being fired
  • Wrote refund check to client that bounced
  • Exhibited indifference to refunding unearned fees

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Morris by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Morris practices with The Law Office of Morris P. Fair Jr. PC at 5526 Flat Shoals Parkway in Decatur, Georgia.
