Attorney Mark Van Pernis of Kailua-Kona, HI; serial offender

The state of Hawaii presented Mark Van Pernis with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Miami Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

• Harassed court-appointed foreclosure commissioner
• Utilized means to embarrass, delay or burden foreclosure commission
• Demonstrated a pattern of misconduct

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Mark’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary admonitions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2014), Mark practices at 75-167F Hualalai Road in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.
