Attorney Robert Carter of Tullahoma, TN; convicted thief

The state of Tennessee provided Robert Thomas Carter with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Tennessee Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

Bobby’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide required hearing transcript to Court of Appeals
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Bobby’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Pled guilty to felony theft involving his former law firm

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 14-month suspension of his law license.
