Attorney Melanie Campbell-Brown of Knoxville; ethical misfit

The state of Tennessee provided Melanie Ann Campbell-Brown with a law license in 2001 after she graduated from Cumberland Law School.

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Melanie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Notarized documents in violation statutory requirements

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Melanie by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. September 2014) Melanie practices at 9111 Cross Park Drive in Knoxville, Tennessee.
