Attorney Douglas Romero of Denver; ethical dwarf

The state of Colorado presented Douglas Leo Romero with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Willamette University of Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Doug failed to advise his clients that their interests might be compromised by being called as witnesses in matters against one another.

Doug also neglected to adequately keep track of disbursements made on behalf of one of his clients. Said negligence may have led to the negligent conversion of those disbursements and of another client’s funds.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Doug by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak, (ca. September 2014), Doug practices with the Law Office of Douglas Romero LLC at 200 South Sheridan Blvd in Denver, Colorado.
