Attorney Carlos Leal of Denver; deadbeat loser

The state of Colorado presented Carlos Leal with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Willamette University of Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Carlos guilty of the following misconduct.

• Carlos knowingly and intentionally violated a court order to pay monthly child support and maintenance to his ex-wife.
• Engaged in the unauthorized practice of law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Carlos by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Surpeme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Carlos.
