Attorney Sheldon Halpern of Huntington Woods, MI; serial offender

The state of Michigan presented Sheldon P. Halpern with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from New York University (NYU) Law School.

The Attorney Discipline Board found Sheldon guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with reasonable diligence
  • Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
  • Client’s appeal dismissed due to Sheldon’s negligence
  • Failed to notify clients of dismissal of their appeals
  • Failed to properly supervise office staff

As one would suspect this wasn’t Sheldon’s First bite at the attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received three (3) complimentary reprimands and one (1) 30-day suspension of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Disciplinary Board punished Sheldon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Sheldon practices at 26339 Woodward Avenue in Huntington Woods, Michigan.
