Attorney Scott Hillis of Zanesville, OH; convicted loser

The state of Ohio presented Scott Thomas Hillis with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Case Western Reserve University Law School in Cleveland.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

Scotty was arrested and charged with the offense of solicitation and criminal trespass after he was found with a known prostitute in a parked car on private property.

Scotty received a suspended 3-day jail sentence, a 90-day driver’s license suspension, a $400 fine and was ordered to perform 30 hours of community service. (Randy Ludlow, Columbus Dispatch)

At the time of his arrest, Scotty was employed as part-time law director for the city of Zanesville.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Scotty.

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Scotty practices with the Law Office of Scott Hillis LLC at 401 Market Street in Zanesville, Ohio.
