Attorney Shawn Hooks of Dayton, OH; ethical dwarf

The state of Ohio presented Shawn Patrick Hooks with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of Dayton Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Shawn guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with client
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Shawn!)
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Shawn by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Shawn.
