Attorney Jeffrey Maynard of Annapolis, MD; ethical dwarf

The state of Maryland presented Jeffrey Charles Maynard with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from the University of Maryland Law School. Jeff also received a law license to practice in Florida in 2001 and from the Washington, DC Bar in 1999.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Jeff guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to maintain unearned portion of client’s prepaid fee in required trust account
• Used unearned fees for his own personal use
• Failed to keep client advised concerning accrual of fees
• Failed to respond to client requests for information
• Failed to promptly refund unearned fees upon being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme

Court punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Jeff practices with Gibb & Riley at 844 West Street in Annapolis, Maryland.
