Attorney John Klusaritz of DC; ethical misfit

The State of Maryland presented John J. Klusaritz with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Harvard University Law School.

The DC Bar Counsel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter while representing a corporate client in a variety of legal matters failed to communicate with the corporate client and engaged in a conflict of interest when he failed to obtain informed consent from the corporate client before providing legal advice to the client’s employee, who was starting a business that could potentially compete with the corporate client.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Bar Counsel punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. August 2014), Johnny practices with Foley & Lardner LLP at 3000 K Street NW in Washington, DC.
