Attorney Thomas Dorsey III of Springfield, IL; ethical gremlin

The state of Illinois presented Thomas A. Dorsey III with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from Michael received a license to practice law from Arkansas in 1997.

The Attorney Disciplinary Commission found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected two different client matters
• Failed to respond to pleadings involving clients
• Failed to appear in court on client’s behalf
• Failed to communicate about status of legal matter
• As a result of Tommy’s negligence, two clients had default judgments entered against them

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Attorney Disciplinary Commission punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2014) Tommy practices at 105 South Amos Avenue in Springfield, Illinois.
