Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX): Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

Rep. Pete Sessions (R-TX)

Today’s “Rodney Dangerfield” Award Winner

Pete is another right-wing zealot from Texas who hasn’t been able to cope with the fact that Obama, an African-American is sitting in the Whitehouse.

In January 2013, Speaker of the House John “The Bone” Boehner appointed Pete as Chairman of House Committee on Rules.

In a lame effort to justify The Bone’s recent announcement that he was going to file a lawsuit against Obama, Pete held a worthless meeting on the matter on July 16, 2014.

At the hearing, Pete determined it was necessary to prove that he was more than qualified to determine if The Bone’s lawsuit had merit. Towards that end, Pete laughingly stated:

“I’m an Eagle Scout.”

“I studied t he merit badges that we took about governance, about cities, states, the national government.”

In addition to the laughable qualifications cited above by Pete the Moron, he also claimed to be a legal guru because he had “great professors” when he studied political science at Southwestern University.

Pete didn’t disclose the specific merit badges he received as an Eagle Scout that qualifies him to determine the legal ramifications of suing Obama; however, it may well be that he received one or more of the following merit badges.

  • Railroading (necessary qualification for filing frivolous lawsuit v. perceived enemy)
  • Backpacking
  • Stamp collecting
  • Fly fishing
  • Gardening

Of course any of the above merit badges would qualify Pete to sit in judgment of Obama, right?

The comedian’s actual experience in the labor market was as a district manager for marketing for Southwestern Bell. Therefore, Pete would have us believe that he is eminently qualified to determine the legal and constitutional issues in filing a lawsuit against Obama.

Congrats Pete; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Accomplished “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
