Attorney Tayu Yang of Des Moines; repeat offender

The state of Iowa presented Tayu Yang with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Iowa Law School.

 

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Tayu guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Tayu’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to file immigration appeal on client’s behalf

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Tayu by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Tayu’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Made a misrepresentation of a material fact to a tribunal
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to withdraw representation when withdrawal mandated
  • Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Tayu by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Tayu practices at 811 Hickman Road in Des Moines, Iowa.
