Attorney Ronald Weldy of Indianapolis; ethical gremlin

The state of Indiana presented Ronald E. Weldy with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from Seton hall University Law School.

The Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission found Ronnie guilty of the following misconduct

  1. Failed to abide by client’s decision re: objectives of representation
  2. Failed to act with due diligence
  3. Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  4. Failed to comply with client’s requests for information
  5. Failed to explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit a client to make informed decisions
  6. Failed to tell client basis or rate of his fee
  7. Engaged in conduct involving dishonest, deceit, fraud or misrepresentation
  8. Failed to secure disputed property until dispute resolved
  9. Continued to improperly represent client after he was fired
  10. Failed to expedite client’s litigation
  11. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  12. Knowingly made a false statement of fact or law to a trial court

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Indiana Supreme Court punished Ronnie by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Ronnie practices with Weldy & Associates at 8383 Craig Street in Indianapolis, Indiana.
