Judge Stephanie Domitrovich of Erie, PA; ethical misfit

The state of Pennsylvania presented Stephanie Domitrovich with a law license in 1981 after she graduated from Duquesne University Law School.

Stephanie has had her significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the past thirty-one (31) years. Apparently, no respectable law firm in the greater Erie area was about to offer Stephanie a good paying job.

The Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board charged Stephanie with the following misconduct.

  • Treated litigants and witnesses with disrespect
  • Treated court staff with total disrespect and disdain
  • Repeatedly engaged in improper ex parte (one-sided) communications regarding matters pending before her court
  • Provided misleading (lied) during deposition by ethics investigators

All that remains to be seen now is what if any punishment the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Conduct Board mete out to Stephanie. If she’s really unlucky, they’ll likely gift her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2014) Stephanie remains sitting as a Erie County Common Pleas Judge.
