Attorney Bruce Levin of Bridgeport, CT; ethical misfit

The state of Connecticut provided Bruce L. Levin with a law license in 1976

Bruce’s misconduct occurred while he was sitting as a Superior Court Judge. The Judicial Review Council found Bruce guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in willful misconduct
  • Abused his judicial office
  • Failed to observe high standards of conduct
  • Failed to preserve the integrity of the judiciary
  • Failed to observe high standards of conduct as to independence of judiciary

In one matter, Bruce attempted to use his judicial office as a superior court judge to influence the actions and decisions of his wife Ann Levin, in divorce proceedings.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Judicial Review Council punished Bruce by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2014) Bruce practices with Cohen and Wolf, PC at 1115 Broad Street in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
