Attorney Harilaos Sorovigas of Lansing, MI; ethical misfit

 

The state of Michigan provided Frederick J. Blackmond with a law license in 1979

 

The Ingham County Hearing Panel #6 found Harilaos guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to explain matter necessary to allow clients to make informed decisions re: representation
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Improperly prepared legal document giving Harilaos and a relative a substantial gift from client
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Violated or attempted to violation rules of conduct or assisted or induced another to do so

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Harilaos by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. July 2014), Harilaos practices with Argolys Attiki PLC at 527 West Hillsdale Street in Lansing, Michigan.
