This isn’t the first Award presented to Darrell. In the past, he has been the recipient of two (2) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories. Darrell is the moronic ideologue who is the Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. We can thank Speaker of the House John “The Bone” Boehner for appointing Issa as chairman of this committee. On June 24, 2014, Darrell issued a subpoena to Lee Goodman, head of the Federal Election Commission (FEC), ordering him to hand over all of former IRS official Lois Lerner’s emails beginning in 1986. From 1981 through 2011, Ms. Lerner worked for the FEC; however it is difficult to imagine how any of her communications at the FEC could have any relevance to the IRS. The so-called IRS scandal that allegedly targeted right wing groups claiming to be charitable organizations began in 2012, which is twenty-six (26) years after the time Darrell subpoenaed Ms. Lerner’s FEC emails. To show how asinine Issa’s subpoena is in going back to 1986, the following took place that year.
Issa has been given the blessing of The Bone to expend millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars in pursing a right wing agenda specifically aimed to going after President Obama. Issa doesn’t really give a damn if the IRS did or did not target any specific groups for further review regarding charitable status; he is only concerned is trying to prove that Obama was personally involved in ordering reviews of various groups. As we speak (June 2015), Issa hasn’t uncovered any evidence of any kind that would link Obama and/or the Whitehouse to any of the matters dealing with the phantom IRS scandal.
