Attorney Thomas Owens of Minneapolis; ethical misfit

 

The state of Minnesota presented Joseph Thomas L. Owens with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota of Law School.

 

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to respond to calls from client’s former attorney
  • Neglected a legal matter entrusted to him

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. .

 

As we speak (June 2014), Tommy practices at 80 South 8th Street in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
