Attorney Johnny Lane of Saraland, AL; ethical dwarf

The state of Alabama presented Johnny Mack Lane with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from the University of Mississippi Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to safeguard client property
• Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Johnny practices at 317 A Shelton Beach Road in Saraland, Alabama.
