Attorney Larry Collins of Phenix City, AL; ethical misfit

The state of Alabama presented Larry Joel Collins with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
2. Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
3. Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
4. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
5. Failed to respond to client’s repeated calls

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Larry by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Larry practices in the Phenix, Alabama area.
