Attorney Richard Sandefer of Pinson, AL; lying loser
The state of Alabama presented Richard Ellis Sandefer with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Birmingham Law School.
The Alabama State Bar Association found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.
-
Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
-
Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
-
Failed to explain matter to extent necessary to allow client to make informed decisions regarding representation
-
Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct or knowingly assisted or induced another to do so
-
Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
-
Lied to client that paperwork had been filed in court on client’s behalf
-

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
