Attorney Linda Lee of Denver; ethical leprechaun
The state of Colorado provided Linda Marie Lee with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from the University of Denver Law School.
The Colorado State Bar found Linda guilty of the following misconduct.
- Made a false statement of material fact to a trial judge
- Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
- Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
- Improperly commingled client funds with personal funds
- Failed to surrender client file to client after being fired
- Failed to provide full accounting to client as requested
- Engaged in a conflict of interest
- Failed to keep disputed funds separate awaiting accounting as required
- Counseled a client to engage in fraudulent conduct
- Found in contempt of court for engaging in a variety of misconduct
As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Linda by gifting her with a complimentary180-day suspension of her law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2014), Linda practices with The Lee Law Firm LLC in Denver, Colorado
