The state of Colorado provided Victoria Bevin Bantz with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Victoria guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to advise client to seek independent attorney re: financial matters
• Improperly entered into business transaction with client
• Failed to properly supervise office personnel
• Failed to safeguard client funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Victoria by gifting her with a complimentary stayed 18-month suspension of her law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court didn’t actually mete out any meaningful punishment to Victoria.
