Attorney Margo Shorr of Phoenix; repeat offender

The state of Arizona presented Margo A. Shorr with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from Case Western Reserve Law School in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Arizona State Bar found Margo guilty of the following misconduct.

Margo’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

1. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
2. Failed to communicate with client
3. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interests after being fired
4. Failed to safeguard client property
5. Failed to promptly return client file to client after being fired
6. Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Margo!)
7. Failed to timely sign stipulation for substitution of counsel
8. Failed to maintain required client ledgers
9. Commingled client funds with personal funds
10. Overdrew he trust account on several occasions (rubber checks)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Margo by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

Margo’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Margo found it acceptable to misrepresent (lie) by omission when she knowingly and intentionally failed to inform the judge that her withdrawal of a juvenile court petition was not a settlement of the matter in controversy.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Margo by gifting her with another complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Margo practices at 13835 North Tatum Blvd in Phoenix, Arizona.
