Attorney Nathaniel Pitnof of Worcester, MA; unethical Dumbo
The state of Massachusetts presented Nathaniel D. Pitnof with a law license in 1969 after he graduated from Boston College Law School.
The Board of Bar Overseers found Nate guilty of the following misconduct.
- Failed to return client records to client as required
- Failed to provide competent representation (Dumbo)
- Negligence led to client losing her lawful medical malpractice claims
- Failed to obtain expert medical opinions on client’s behalf
- Allowed statute of limitations to expire on client’s claims
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Concealed from client fact that statute of limitations had expired
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Nate by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. June 2014) Nate practices at 100 Grove Street in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Warning: Nate does not carry legal malpractice insurance
