Attorney Kevin Phillips of Marshfield, MA; crook

The state of Massachusetts presented Kevin P. Phillips with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Boston College Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Kevin guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Knowingly violated probate court order
  2. Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  3. Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  4. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  5. Advised and assisted client in violating court order and engage in conduct that Kevin knew was illegal and fraudulent
  6. Collected an illegal fee (crook)
  7. Failed to safeguard client trust account funds
  8. Engaged in an egregious conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Kevin by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2014) Kevin practices at 769 Plain Street in Marshfield, Massachusetts.
