Attorney James Pepe Jr. of Chicopee, MA; lying loser
The state of Massachusetts presented James G. Pepe Jr. with a law license in 1999.
The Board of Bar Overseers found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.
- Failed to respond to court ordered discovery on client’s behalf
- Jimmy failed to advise client (victim) of discovery received from opposing counsel
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Lied to ethics investigator that he had send client’s file to client
- Failed to respond to defendant’s motion to dismiss client’s case
- Failed to respond to client’s requests for information
- Lied on two occasions to client that trial date had been continued when he knew no trial date had ever been scheduled
- Improperly withdrew form client’s case without court approval
- Failed to timely return client’s file to client after being fired
- Failed to appear at motion to dismiss hearing on client’s behalf
- Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Jimmy!)
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. June 2014) Jimmy practices with the Law Office of James G. Pepe Jr. at 1206 Burnett Road in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
