Judge Thomas Newman Jr. of Sloatsburg, NY; drunken loser

The state of New York presented Thomas Newman Jr. with a law license in 1980 after he graduated Saint Johns University Law School.

Tommy was convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) and for causing a accident as a result of his drunkenness.

While driving his care under the influence of alcohol, Judge Newman rear-ended another vehicle that was lawfully stopped at a traffic light. When police arrived Tommy became combative, belligerent and uncooperative.

Judge Newman refused to take a breathalyzer test, tried to break away from the arresting officer’s grasp, had to be forced into the patrol car and threatened to take the officer’s gun. In addition, Newman repeatedly stated, in words or in substance that he wanted to die and wanted an officer to shoot him. Unfortunately, the police officer didn’t make Tommy’s wish cone true,

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. June 2014), Judge Newman remains sitting on the bench in Norfolk, New York.
