Attorney Joe Heinzl of Sonoita, AZ; lying loser

The state of Arizona presented Joe L. Heinzl with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from Whittier Law School. 

The Arizona State Bar found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Joey represented a client in a medical malpractice case. Joey failed to act with due diligence by virtue of his inadequate preparation in terms of locating and identifying expert witnesses to testify on behalf of his client.

Joey also failed to time respond to discovery requests served upon him by defense counsel.

More importantly, Joey knowingly made false statements to the trial court in his motion to withdraw regarding client’s readiness for trial.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. May 2014) Joey continues to practice in Sonoita, Arizona, which is located in Santa Cruz County.
