Attorney A. Michael Espino of Holbrook, AZ; ethical dwarf
The state of Arizona presented A. Michael Espino with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.
The Arizona State Bar found Espino guilty of the following misconduct.
- Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
- Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
- Failed to communicate with client
- Charged a clearly excessive fee (crook)
- Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interest after being discharged
- Failed to respond to bar investigators requests for information (Up Yours, said Michael!)
- Knowingly violate rules of conduct or induce another to do so
As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Espino by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.
As we speak (ca. May 2014) Espino is employed by the Navajo County Attorney’s Office in Holbrook, Arizona.
