Attorney A. Michael Espino of Holbrook, AZ; ethical dwarf

The state of Arizona presented A. Michael Espino with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Espino guilty of the following misconduct.

  1. Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  2. Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  3. Failed to communicate with client
  4. Charged a clearly excessive fee (crook)
  5. Failed to take necessary steps to protect client’s interest after being discharged
  6. Failed to respond to bar investigators requests for information (Up Yours, said Michael!)
  7. Knowingly violate rules of conduct or induce another to do so

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Espino by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2014) Espino is employed by the Navajo County Attorney’s Office in Holbrook, Arizona.
