Attorney Fred Valkenburg of Missoula, MT: mysoginist The state of Freddy has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the last twenty-nine (29) years. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in the In November 1997, Freddy duped the voters in the In February 2014, the U.S. Justice Department accused Freddy’s office of gender bias in the prosecution of non-stranger rapes. In a letter to Freddy, the Justice Dept. said its investigation discovered that his office refused to prosecute “nearly every case” involving non-stranger assaults on adult women who were intoxicated, or on adult women with a mental or physical disability. (Missoulian) The letter went on to say that there are “strong indications” that the charging decisions in non-stranger assaults/rapes are strongly influenced by gender bias and stereotyping. It went on to say: “Women consistently told us that deputy county attorneys treated them with indifference or disrespect, and frequently made statements to women victims, advocates and the public diminishing the seriousness of sexual violence and minimizing the culpability of those commit it.” In one case, a prosecutor told the mother of a 5-year-old sexual assault victim that “boys will be boys.” The juvenile perpetrator was sentenced to two years of community service. In another case, a prosecutor quoted religious passages to a woman reporting a sexual assault. The letter further accused Freddy’s office of refusing to prosecute a man who admitted to police that he raped a woman while she was unconscious. Freddy’s office also refused to prosecute a man who told police he couldn’t determine how long it took him to stop having intercourse with a mentally ill woman who had asked him to stop. As one would suspect, Freddy claims the charges by the Justice Department are false and/or total fabrications. Hopefully, when the whole truth comes out, the voters in As we speak (ca.
