During a recent (04/20/14) interview with talk show comedian Janet Mefferd, Danny laughingly complained that newspapers have “an entire section devoted to sports,” but make no mention of religion.

Danny the Comic went on to say that when newspapers do cover religion, the stories are “filled with left propaganda about faith that attacks Christianity.”

The Comic continued by saying:

“That’s the lefty view of faith, we gotta show Hindu this, we gotta show Buddhism, we gotta talk about Scientology, we gotta talk about Wiccans.”

Maybe Danny would shut his trap if newspapers reported on professional athletes who were practicing Buddhists, Hindus or Scientologists.

Apparently, Danny the Comic finds it offensive that the New York Times, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Chicago Tribune or the Detroit Free Press is dedicating its sports sections to reporting on the Yankees, Indians, Cubs or Tigers respectively.

Congrats Danny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Standup Comedians”; you are far too humble.
