Today’s “Moron” Award Winner

 Kris is yet another lawyer who learned early on that he likely couldn’t make a dishonest living practicing law, so he decided to go into the second most ethical profession, which is of course politics.

In November 2011, Kris duped the voters in Kansas into electing him as their Secretary of State. Prior to that (ca. 1995 to 2010), Kris had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough.

As Secretary of State, Kris oversees voting and elections in Kansas. During his tenure as Secretary of State, Kris has spent an inordinate amount of taxpayer money falsely claiming that “voter fraud” was a significant problem in Kansas. Kris used the nonexistent voter fraud scam as an excuse to engage in voter repression.

In addition, to making false claims about voter fraud, Kris also spends a lot of time going after undocumented immigrants.

During a recent (04/09/14) interview with comedy radio host Joyce Kaufman at an event hosted by FAIR, an anti-immigrant group, where Kris holds a senior legal position.

During the interview, comedian Kaufman said, “I can’t imagine how many widows are voting for their dead husbands.”

Kris the Moron responded to Kaufman’s comment by saying:

“Yeah, it happens all the time.”

Neither Kris the Moron nor Joyce the Loon could provide any documentary evidence that widows have voted for their husbands. Of course these two celebrated nitwits aren’t about to let something like the truth get in the way of the self-promotion.

Congrats Kris; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Morons”; you are far too humble.
