Judge Jurden was assigned to preside over the case of Robert H. Richards IV who was subsequently convicted of sexually abusing his three-year-old daughter. Richards is the great-grandson of Irénée du Pont, the chemical magnate.
Richards lives off a trust fund in a 5,800 square foot mansion he purchased for $1.8 million. When he isn’t residing in his mansion, he can usually be found in his beach home in the exclusive
Richards admitted in open court that he sexually abused his three-year-old daughter over the course of two years. He then pled guilty to one count of fourth-degree rape, which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
Judge Jurden then sentenced the Pervert to an eight-year prison sentence; however, she then suspended the prison term and sentenced him to probation.
In her disgusting sentencing order, Jurden proved she was an apologist for child rapists by saying Richards “will not fare well” if he is sentenced to prison. Does anyone really care if this Child Molester doesn’t fare well in prison?
