Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

 This isn’t the first Award presented to Glenn. In the past, he has been the recipient of twelve (12) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of eight (8) opinion pieces. During a recent (04/09/14) rant on his daily comedy show, Glenn decided to come to the defense of a fellow lunatic, Rep. Louie (Screwy Louie) Gohmert (R-TX).

During a April 8, 2014 hearing held by the House Judiciary Committee, Louie got into an verbal exchange with U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder who was called to testify before the committee.

In a prior (may 2013) appearance before the same committee, Screwy Louie became flustered when his asinine questions of Holder didn’t bear any fruit. Louie then had the chutzpah to complain that Holder had questioned his integrity and “cast aspersions on my asparagus.”

During the recent exchange between Holder and Screwy Louie, Holder finished up by telling Louie, “Good luck with your asparagus.”

Screwy Glenn construed Holder’s comment as a threat to Louie by saying:

• “That is a threat against a Congressman on the oversight committee.”
• “Wake up, America.”
• “These guys are the worst people I have met.”
• “Holder is out of control. He’s a very bad guy and he is out of control.”
• “Just remember that as our doors are broken into.”

Claiming that saying “Good luck with your asparagus” is a threat doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test. I suppose if someone said “Good luck with your Zanax, Glenn,” the Screwball would consider that to be a threat.

Congrats Glenn; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwballs”; you are far too humble.
