Attorney Richard Toledo of Miami; ethical misfit

The state of Florida provided Richard Gregory Toledo with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from Duquesne University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Dick guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

At the time of his misconduct, Dick was employed by the David L. Stern law firm as an independent contractor. An unknown number of affidavits processed by Dick during that time were not executed by him in the presence of a notary. On more than one occasion, Dick executed an expert affidavit without reviewing the pertinent file.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2014) Dick practices at 21 SE 1st Avenue in Miami, Florida.
