Attorney Tyrus Sturgis of Montgomery, AL; ethical misfit

The state of Alabama presented Tyrus Bernard Sturgis with a law license in 2007 after he graduated from Samford University Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Tyrus guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
• Failed to properly separate client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Tyrus by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2014), Tyrus practices at 22 Monroe Street in Montgomery, Alabama.
