Today’s “Bullshit” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Patty. In the past, he has been the recipient of thirteen (13) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of five (5) various opinion pieces. Those awards and pieces are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

In a recent (03/24/14) airing of the 700 Comedy Club, Patty spoke about a viewer named Sandra who told him a letter that she didn’t understand why an atheist coworker was “openly hostile at the mere mention of God” when the letter writer had attempted to “bring her to Jesus.”

In her letter, she went on to ask Patty, “Should I abandon the idea of being a positive influence on her and just let her perish?”

Patty opined that the coworker might be controlled by “something that is demonic” or “something that is deep ingrained.” Patty then went on to say:

• “But to be that openly hostile to the word ‘God,’ it’s something beyond the normal human experience.”
• “Something has happened.”
• “Maybe she had an abusing father, somebody who raped her and acted like he was preaching to her from the Bible.”

Isn’t it comforting to know that being the victim of parental abuse will likely cause one to be hostile to word of “God.” Goshes and Gollies, it might be the primary reason for the increase in the atheist population here in the U.S. of A.

Congrats Patty; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bullshitters’”; you are far too humble.
