Today’s “Bigoted Moron” Award Winner

Rafael Cruz is a Certified Screwball, Lunatic and Aspiring Standup Comedian and the father of Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas. Teddy’s Loony conduct is proof positive that the Avocado doesn’t fall far from the tree.

During a recent (03/25/14) appearance before the National Religious Broadcasters convention, Rafael joined fellow loons, Jay Somehow, Todd Starnes and Craig and Janet Parshall in a panel discussion.

During the discussion, Rafael defended businesses that engaged in anti-gay discrimination. He also went on the attack against those who opposed the “pray the gay away” therapy.

Rafael went on to tell his fellow Loons:

• “Sexual orientation is a choice; it’s not a civil right.”
• “The left is trying to redefine the issue as a civil right, not as a personal choice.”
• “They have gone to the extent to even try to make it illegal for counselors to administer to these people that have certain sexual tendencies to try to work with them from the Christian, biblical standpoint.”

As is the case with most Loony Liars, nobody has made it illegal for a minister, rabbi or priest to counsel gay folks. The only thing that has been made illegal is the sham “pray away the gay” crap that Rafael and his fellow charlatans have attempted to foist upon the public as a cure to being gay.

And lastly, Rafael the Bigot said he opposes gay rights because he believes they are apart of a Communist plot and leads to child abuse

Congrats Rafael; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigoted Morons’”; you are far too humble.
