Today’s “Humanitarian” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Patty. In the past, he has been the recipient of fourteen (14) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of five (5) opinion pieces. During a recent (03/18/14) airing on the 700 Comedy Club, Patty received a call from a woman who had ill feelings for her abusive father and was suffering from cancer.

The woman told Patty the Humanitarian:

• “My father abused my mom for years.”
• “One day he came home and called me horrid names.”
• “Years went by; I felt so bad so, on the advice of my pastor, I went to him and apologized for anything I had ever done wrong.”
• “I was tossed out, literally, so I disowned him.”
• “I have since had cancer twice and have not been contacted by him. How do I deal with the heartache?”

Patty responded by opining that her situation “could be the cause of that cancer.” He then went on to tell her:

• “You might have a feeling of loss, an emptiness, and you’ve sort of turned off the tremendous system that you have to prevent — there’s an immune system that will function when you are forgiving. All you have to do is forgive him.”

In Patty’s demented mind, the abuser is not only deserving of forgiveness, but if not given, then the abused may well come down with a dose of cancer.

Congrats Patty; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bullshitters”; you are far too humble.
