GOP candidate Jim Brown (R-AZ): Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

GOP candidate Jim Brown (R-AZ)

Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Jimmy is a Republican candidate running for the Second District seat in Congress in an effort to unseat Rep. Ron Barber.

During a recent (03/15/14) Facebook post, Jimmy decided to comment on the institution of slavery and federal spending on entitlements. Towards that end, Jimmy the Bigot said:

  • “Back in the day of slavery, slaves were kept in slavery by denying them education and opportunity while providing them with their basic needs. Not by beating and starving them.”
  • “Basically slave owners took pretty good care of their slaves and livestock and this kept business rolling along.”

Pretty clear that Jimmy yearns for a return to the good old days when those (wink, wink) folks was picking cotton and tobacco and thereby keeping the costs to the producers (plantation owners) down.

You can see that Jimmy actually believes slave owners were humanitarians because they provided the same level of care and concern for their slaves as they did for their livestock. Praise the Lord, the truth will set you free!

If Jimmy gets elected along with a sufficient number of like-minded bigots, we might well be able to return to the days when those folks are made to ride in the back of the bus.

Congrats Jimmy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Racists”; you are far too humble.
