Attorney Thomas Lofton of Kirkland, WA; ethical misfit
The state of Washington presented Thomas D. Lofton with a law license in
1996 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.
The Washington State Bar found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct
which was based on the findings of the Oregon Supreme Court.
- Aiding non-lawyers in the illegal practice of law
- Illegally sharing fees with non-lawyers
- Failed to satisfy conflict of interest full disclosure requirements
- Represented multiple clients with actual or likely conflicts of interests
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the
Washington State and Oregon Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a
complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.
As we speak (March 2014), Tommy practices with Brislawn Lofton PLLC at 5555 Lakeview
Drive in Kirkland, Washington.
